Lace Zigzag Stitch Knitting Pattern
How to knit Lace Zigzag Stitch:
Work with multiple of 8 sts + 1 + 2 edge sts.
Cast on 19 stitches (4 + 8 + 5 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only Right Side Rows.
On Wrong Side Rows, purl all sts and yo’s.
The pat rep = 8 sts wide.
Begin with 1 edge st and 4 sts before patt rep, work patt repeat throughout, end with 5 sts after patt and 1 edge st.
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches
Row 1: edge st, yo, skpo, k2, * k2tog, yo, k2, yo, skpo, k2, repeat from * to last 6 sts, k2tog, yo, k3, edge st.
Row 3: edge st, k1, yo, skpo, k1, * k2, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, k1, repeat from * to last 6 sts, k2, k2tog, yo, k1, edge st.
Row 5: edge st, (yo, skpo) twice, * k1, (k2tog, yo) twice, k1, yo, skpo, repeat from * to last 6 sts, k1, (k2tog, yo) twice, edge st.
Row 7: edge st, k1, yo, skpo, yo, * sk2p, yo, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, yo, repeat from * to last 7 sts, sk2p, yo, k2tog, yo, k1, edge st.
